Redesign of e-commerce product carousels

At the recommendation squad, our challenge was to internalize the product carousels to gain more autonomy — both in terms of metric analysis and interface evolution. I took this opportunity to redesign the carousels, bringing clearer visuals, better alignment with the design system, and optimized space to showcase products.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Redesigned interface focused on hierarchy and organization
• Use of the continuity illusion to suggest scrolling
• Cleaner cards with prioritized relevant information
• Decisions guided by benchmarking and technical feasibility

RESULTS
• Easy-to-iterate and test component (first experiment launched within a week after release)
• Real-time metrics available
• Interface integrated with the design system
